This is a small gallery of the 3d printers I built 2012-2013 or so. The first was a Prusa i2 and the second was a mendel90 (sturdy). In true reprap fashion, the i2 was used to print the parts for the mendel90. Overall these printers ran about $600-700 each in parts. That’s an amazing contrast to the $200 printers that are available nowadays that basically work straight out of the box.
